Fishing rods have 6 stats each: Handling, Comfort, Toughness, Speed, Flexibility and Tenacity.
All of them affect gameplay, and any upgrade increases the rod's rating (which increases chance of finding target fish and its weight range.)
- Handling - increases the speed with which the green circle becomes smaller when focusing on the fish
- Comfort - increases the size on good/perfect zones on the strike bar
- Toughness - increases the amount of dropped tension after a good/perfect strike
- Speed - increases the range by which the fish is dragged towards you after the good/perfect strike
- Flexibility - decreases the speed of striking, so it is easier to nab a "perfect"
- Tenacity - lowers the speed of constant tension increase
