Availability and performance of certain features, services and applications are device- and network-dependent and may not be available in all areas; subscription(s) may be required, and additional terms, conditions and/or charges may apply.

PLAYING GAMES WITH CHROMECAST:

Open the app and you will see the cast icon in the top right corner. The players must all be connected to the same Chromecast device which means you need to be on the same Wi-Fi network as well. Once the game has connected, your phones will be reduced to game controllers with your TV displaying the game play.

iOS devices must be running at least iOS 9 to use Chromecast; iOS 8 or below will not work.

The following iOS devices are NOT compatible with Chromecast:

iPhone 4/4S

iPod 5th generation

ANDROID DEVICES

Your device must be running version 4.4 or later for the Android operating system.

The feature is only available on whitelisted devices.  For a list of supported devices, please check the link below:

LAGGING VIDEO OR INTERRUPTED SIGNAL

Your Wi-Fi network signal of your device and/or your Chromecast may no be strong enough. A weak signal ay cause issues especially with high quality streams like Full HD 1080p. You can improve the Wi-Fi network connection by moving your Wi-Fi acccess point (or router) nearer to your Chromecast and your Android device. Extending your Wi-Fi coverage range with a wifi repeater may also be an option.
