Events are specially themed activities that run for a limited duration, generally for 3-4 weeks.
Events present expeditions to the user where they can encounter animals not found anywhere else in Deer Hunter. In order to access these expeditions, players need to buy access, which results in a unique weapon and full access to a track of missions and the Trophy animal. Generally, the first Expedition in the Event is free to all users, but is shorter than the others and gives fewer rewards.
Players will accrue Platinum Eagles as they play Event Expeditions and these may be spent in either the Prize Weapons or Prize Gear sections of the Event. Prize Weapons may also be accessed via the standard Weapon Store, off of the Landing Page. The Platinum Eagles you win will carry over across all Events, so you may save up over time to afford the best prizes.
Each Event has a special, Limited Edition Assault Rifle that can only be purchased while the current Event is running. Once the Event is over, the weapon will disappear forever and a new weapon will takes its place for the next Event.
Once an Event is over, they can no longer be accessed, so be sure to complete your Expeditions. The timer present on either the main Event screen or inside an Expedition will tell you how long you have remaining to complete the content.
