When you select an equipment piece in your inventory, the top of the info window shows 3 Stars above the item name. Below the item name you will see an XP bar that indicates a number out of 5.
To access Fusion and Evolution you will need to click on the desired item. At the bottom of the info window there is a button labeled “Upgrade” clicking on “Upgrade” opens a window that gives you the options between “Fusion”, “Evolution” and “Socket.”
Fusion: Select the item for which you want to increase power. Once selected, click “Upgrade” and then on “Fusion.” In this window you will see the item you want upgraded in the center of a circle of flashing plus signs. Click on a plus sign and it will take you into an inventory screen. From here you have the option to fuse up to six items at a time. Make sure you don’t fuse in any items you want to keep because you can’t get them back!
Each fusion level provides the item with a boost to all of its stats, including its Gear Score (GS).
Evolution: Select the item for which you want to increase power. Once selected, click on “Upgrade” and then on “Evolution.” In this window you will see your base item, materials needed to evolve, and what the result will be. The materials are found as drops from mobs in the missions or bosses. You can also buy the materials from this window using Gems. Once you have all the materials click the “Evolution” button found at the bottom right of the screen and you are done!
