Connecting to a previous account is easier than ever in EA Sports Tap Sports Baseball!

You can connect your previous account right when you first open the app, or after you've been playing for a while. Read below for both methods.

I just opened the app and want to link to my team from last year

After the initial loading (and some notification and birthday questions) you will be presented with a choice of being new to Tap Sports Baseball or played before. 

 New or returning  

Choose "Connect to existing account."  This will bring up the method to connect.  Choose whatever method you used to backup your MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2022 account.

For email enter the email address you associated with your MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2022 account and then the password. 

Make sure that you are entering the email that is linked to your 2022 account.

This will trigger an email with a verification code to be sent to that address. 

If you're not seeing a verification code email:
(1) check your email's spam folder,
(2) check that this is the correct email linked to your 2022 account,
(3) add “ea@e.ea.com” to your safe senders list and try sending the code again.

Once you enter the code this will link the accounts and you should get some gifts.

From there you will select your favorite MLB team, have the option to learn to play, receive All Star buffs, and then you are on to playing!

I've been playing the app for a while and want to link to my team from last year

If you've already been playing TSB 2023 and want to link to a TSB 2022 account, tap on the Main Menu icon (the stacked 3 lines in the top left corner of the screen).

Then tap the "Settings" button.

Under "Back Up Your Account," choose whatever method you used to backup your MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2022 account.
