As you continue to build your team, you will start collecting players who will become inactive due to limited space in your active roster. New players who are better than your current lineup will take the place of the old player and will move to the Inactives roster. The inactives roster can be found under Team > Lineup and then scroll down the player list past "Active" and "Substitutes" for Batters and "Starters" and "Relivers" for Pitchers.

You can trade your inactive players for EXP that you can use to improve players you do want on your roster.

The roster decision (Team > Gameplay > Strategy) will also determine which player will get traded in. Roster Decision.

• "Current" will trade in the lowest current overall
• "Potential" will trade in the lowest max overall

Note that you may "lock" players (from the Batters or Pitchers tab) at the top of your Team screen in your roster if you do not want them substituted or traded.
