No, despite it being a co-op event, you do not design the rooms in challenges together. You only work on the progress track together, working in unison toward the Grand Prize.

You design challenge rooms on your own and earn Event Tokens for every bubble you fill. The more blue and purple bubbles you fill, the more Event Tokens you will receive.
