Please take a look at the goal details as it might be an issue with the item that was used versus the item that is required for the goal. 

For example, if the goal was to use 10 ottomans, only ottomans would count, meaning other items like poufs would not count towards that goal even if the pouf shows up with the ottoman bubble.
